A Race of Riddles
Submit us your answer to one or both of these riddles below before Saturday, July 25th. In the next issue of Ad Orientem, we will include the answer and the name of the first person to guess the riddles correctly.
Riddle #1
Born once, I died twice. Born twice, I died once. What does this mean?
Riddle #2
I am the only 'sinner' allowed to stand upon the Altar during the Holy Sacrifice. I am often clothed in lace or fine linen, yet I have no body. I am kissed by the Priest, but I cannot feel his devotion. When the Mass ends, I am folded away like a shroud, waiting for the third day—or the next feast. What am I?
